Fertility Financials
Are fertility treatment costs the same wherever I go?
No, they’re not. Neither are success rates. We encourage every patient to consider success rates as much as they consider cost of care. Cost can often vary as much as success rates from center to center.
Frequently Asked Questions
Knowledge is power when researching both the cost of fertility care and success rates. Here are a few questions you should ask that are related to cost of care?
If success rates are below US averages, you may need to complete multiple cycles and higher cost overall to achieve success.
Especially with IVF cycles, treatment costs may be presented in an “ala carte” format after a base cost has been presented. The greatest variability in cost of care is when IVF is indicated.
If the center's fees seem excessive or discounted too heavily, you might want to ask for more information. Fees that are more than +/- 10% different require greater scrutiny and validation.
